Practice & Contemplation
The goal of self-presence.in is to show the possibility of a philosophical life. Such a life must include both a rigorous logical enterprise into speculative thought and action.
A philosopher has to grasp true things and act accordingly. This unity results in deliberate life and action. As a result, such a character has a happy and pleasant life.
The site has a simple structure – 2 sections: contemplation and practice.
Part 1 is devoted to the analysis of philosophical thoughts.
Part 2 is about daily life and how it should be formed according to the principles found in section 1.
We naturally have knowledge and practice, and their unity is what makes philosophy. Hence, the goal is to make knowledge alive and experience informed.
I’d like you to take this website as an invitation to a dialogue. Whatever is written here is open to a kind discussion where your opinion is valuable.
